Student Housing Near Northwest Lineman College in Oroville, CA

2 weeks into my schools term and I couldn’t feel any more blessed being a tenant at The Brereton Manor property with Josh & his family. First time in my 25 years being away from home let alone sharing a house with strangers. However Josh has treated us all fairly, if there’s an issue he resolves it the same day if not within the next 24hrs. There’s zero complains on my end, once again thank you Josh. To whoever sees this, I come from South Central LA, I’m first generation Mexican American and if you need a place to call home for your term at NLC I highly suggest this place. The property is beautiful and the commute is less than 10 minutes. There’s a massage chair in the living room ! I mean like it doesn’t get any better than that !!

To whoever reads this, please don’t think twice about this opportunity. My time at NLC and being a tenant at Oroville have been smooth and amazing. I come all the way from South Central LA, believe me when I tell you I too felt scared coming up north. It was a whole new experience in my life but I can promise you this. You’ll be taken cared of. You want a place that you can call home and is comfortable both inside and out ? Then look no further, I sincerely believe anybody booking to stay will not be disappointed. The area for one is really nice. The commute to school is about 8-10 minutes which is also really great. I’ll say it in Spanish too, este lugar es super especial. Sin alguna duda el dueño es como un amigo, el te trata como familia. Animo mi gente !! I can go on for days about how great my living experience was with Josh. The house is huge, great commute, it had AC icey cold ! So much space for lots of guys who want to buy food, I mean regardless if there was an issue as long as you communicate with Josh he’ll work things out with you. House is about 8 minutes away from the school, very affordable, clean house. A/C works great. Josh always answers our questions and is very respectful/responsive. Always stopping by and treats us to food or events. Everything is 10 minutes or less away from the house.

Staying here while attending NLC and it was the best decision ever!! The house is huge and has all the essentials you will need. Also everything from gyms, grocery store, & great food are within 5-10 min. NLC campus is just 8 min away!! & also I have to say Josh (landlord) is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He is professional, responsive, and just a super great guy he host bbq’s & pizza nights for everyone and addresses any concerns right away he is genuinely just trying to help us out and make our lives easier any way that he can! I would highly recommend this place you won’t regret it!

Josh is extremely great! Through the complete process Josh had great communication, answered all doubts and questions. Very friendly and cares about the students staying at his place. He makes everyone feel like family. Highly recommend staying at this place and pricing is outstanding. Dont hesitate to book this location!!

Josh is an amazing landlord, I’m so thankful to him and his family for allowing me to be a tenant. This schools term has been easier thanks to the environment his home brings us. It’s a peaceful area with lots of good accommodations. I definitely feel at home and don’t regret staying at Brereton Manor.

The house was clean and well maintained and the move-in was simple and quick. If any issues come up Josh is there with good communication. I recommend living here. The school is also less than 10 minutes away from the house.
